Our structural warranty covers manufacturing defects in the structure of your piece. It does not extend to surface finishes, natural material characteristics, or general wear and tear as outlined in the sections below.

Our pieces are designed for indoor use only. Exposure to outdoor conditions such as humidity, moisture, temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight can compromise the materials we work with and may lead to irreversible damage over time.

Marble

Marble is a living material - each piece entirely unique, shaped over millions of years with its own veining, tonal variations and natural markings. These characteristics are not imperfections; they are what make each piece one of a kind.

Our 5-year structural warranty (2 years for commercial use) covers manufacturing defects in the structural integrity of marble pieces.

The following are not covered by this warranty:

  • Scratches, chips, etching or surface marks resulting from everyday use.

  • Staining or damage caused by spills, particularly acidic substances such as citrus, wine, coffee or oils.

  • Damage caused by inappropriate cleaning products, abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

  • Cracks or damage resulting from impact, improper handling or moving the piece frequently.

  • Natural variations in colour, veining or texture inherent to the stone.

Solid Marble Designs

Due to the nature of fully solid marble constructions, the following designs are excluded from our structural warranty. The opportunity for structural failure increases with frequent movement and high-impact use and as such these pieces cannot be structurally warranted:

  • Franca Side Table

  • Bombola Coffee Table

For guidance on caring for your marble piece, visit our Marble Care Guide.

Timber

Timber is a natural material that responds to its environment - expanding and contracting with changes in humidity and temperature, developing its own character with time. Fine lines, small splits or subtle movement at joins are a natural part of the material, not a fault in your piece.

Our 5-year structural warranty (2 years for commercial use) covers manufacturing defects in the structural integrity of timber pieces.

The following are not covered by this warranty:

  • General wear and tear, including surface scratches, dents or marks.

  • Splits, cracking, cupping, warping or colour change resulting from environmental conditions.

  • Damage from moisture, water marks or prolonged exposure to humidity.

  • Damage caused by placement near fireplaces, underfloor heating, direct sunlight or heavily air-conditioned spaces.

  • Surface lacquer finishes, which require periodic maintenance and refinishing depending on use and conditions.

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning products, solvents or abrasive materials.

Elio Dining Chair - Timber & Leather

The Elio Dining Chair features a solid timber frame with 100% full-grain semi-aniline leather upholstery. The 5-year structural warranty applies to the timber frame. The leather seat is not covered under our structural warranty - leather is a natural material and softening, ageing, minor tonal variations and the development of a patina over time are all characteristics of quality leather, not faults.

Stainless Steel

Our stainless steel is chosen for its exceptional durability and distinctive lustre - a material that, with the right care, is built to last a lifetime.

Our 5-year structural warranty (2 years for commercial use) covers manufacturing defects in the structural integrity of stainless steel pieces.

The following are not covered by this warranty:

  • Scratches, dents or surface marks from everyday use.

  • Damage caused by contact with harsh, abrasive or alkaline cleaning products.

  • Corrosion or tarnishing caused by prolonged exposure to salt water, moisture or chemicals.

  • Damage caused by improper use, handling or negligence.

General Exclusions

Across all materials, the following are excluded from our warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear consistent with regular use.

  • Damage resulting from misuse, negligence or failure to follow our Product Care Guide.

  • Changes in appearance due to environmental conditions, including direct sunlight, heat sources, underfloor heating, fireplaces and heavily air-conditioned spaces.

  • Natural variations in colour, texture, grain or veining inherent to natural materials.

  • Surface finishes, including lacquer, which are subject to everyday use and cannot be warranted.

  • Damage caused by cleaning products, solvents, abrasive materials or inappropriate chemicals.

  • Damage caused by improper moving or handling of pieces.

  • Pieces sold as ex-display, seconds, faulty or at warehouse sales - these are sold as-is and are not covered by our warranty.

Our warranty is not transferable. It applies to the original purchaser only and is valid for domestic residential use. A separate 2-year structural warranty applies to commercial use, as listed above.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your piece has a manufacturing defect covered under our warranty and falls within the warranty period, we're here to help. Please stop using the piece and reach out to our team as soon as possible.

To make a claim, contact us at hello@fleurstudios.com.au  with the following:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear video and photographs of the defect

Our team will review your claim and be in touch promptly. Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace or refund the piece in accordance with these terms and the Australian Consumer Law.

Where a replacement is the agreed remedy, we will wherever possible replace only the affected component rather than the piece in its entirety. This allows us to resolve your claim efficiently while minimising waste. Please note that Fleur Studios does not cover the cost of labour for the installation of replacement components or the removal of the original part.

Warranty periods commence from the date of delivery. This warranty is not transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
